In relation to the previous decision by FONS JK Group, a.s. to provide a lump sum as financial support to Ukraine, the Group’s administrative board has decided to continue providing the necessary on-going financial aid and provide a regular, monthly contribution towards Ukraine’s efforts to defend its own territory and sovereignty, until further notice. We will be sending 250 thousand Czech Crowns every month to the account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic on behalf of the Group. By taking this step, we also wish to indicate that our support for Ukraine should be on-going and long-term. Although I very much hope that the war will end as soon as possible, just restoring the country to its original condition will take many years and require an enormous amount of financial aid. Our holding will therefore be making a small contribution to this and we hope that other companies and countries will follow our example.
In conclusion, we would like to state that we firmly hope that we will not need to contribute towards Ukraine’s defence against Russia for much longer, but instead start contributing to its improvement, because Russia will be required to provide reparations for all the damage it has caused, under the threat of sanctions by the international community. However, there will be no way to compensate the lives lost by both sides in this war.

STAPRO s. r. o., an IT company with its central office based in Pardubice, is going to celebrate its 25 years in the Czech market at the beginning of September. On this occasion it will unveil new corporate design. Indirectly or directly, you will all have encountered this company’s products – it produces computer software for hospitals and laboratories, and thus tries to maximize the electronic support of processes and to reduce the amount of paper documents in hospitals. Also this year STAPRO contributed to the charitable activity centre Středisko rané péče. Thanks to our contribution they will be purchasing a new car, which will help them to provide cultural, sports and medical rehabilitation activities for children.
